Somebody says a genius will lose to a determined one, while a determined one will lose to a lucky one. Though the definition of lucky is different for each person.
Some people often don’t feel grateful to what has God given to them. Instead, when the precious thing is revoked, they regret for not being able to be grateful. As an example, when somebody has been given by God a pair of perfect eyes to see, but still, he feels dissatisfied and choose to have a plastic surgery to change His creation. And .. when the plastic surgery fails to create what he wishes, as he is not able to see again or not able to blink. There they regret what they do. It is quite often someone realizes the importance of something after he loses it. When someone is given health, he do not be grateful. When he gets a pain, finally he realizes how important to be healthy.
There are rich people who are eager to have a child. But God does not give them the opportunity. While there are very poor people who are difficult to meet their daily needs and do not want a child, but God entrusted a lot of children. And humans are envious of each other, ‘the rich’ envy ‘the poor’, and ‘the poor’ envy “the rich”. They are not satisfied with what has been given by Him.
Well, do not be jealous and be grateful! As we do not know exactly what someone may feels. It may be ‘the rich’ is not as happy as ‘the poor’.
I would like to quote one of Kim Young Ho’s remarks in Oh My Venus drama 😀
“The fact that there are so many people in pain in this world .. Because everyone is in pain, either a lot or a little in their own way. So, do not cry, everyone lives on through enduring their own burdens ..”
In this life, it is not all about you!
In life it is often everything does not occur according to our plans. Even when someone has made a very detailed plan, on the way the is always a surprise. Since.. there is such a thing called DESTINY. A man may plan on something, but God who determines. Nevertheless, we have to keep trying and not give up, dude! As God promises that people will be rewarded most perfectly according to Him and God never reneged on His promise. It is just because, we, as humans, have limitations. We never know when it comes.
“And that there is not for man except that [good] for which he strives. And that his effort is going to be seen. Then he will be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense. And that to your Lord is the finality” (Surah An Najm: 39- 42)
“Fighting has been enjoined upon you while it is hateful to you. But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah Knows, while you know not.” (Surah Al-Baqarah: 216).
In one scene of Oh My Venus drama, Kang Jo Eun said :
“Not letting that stop us and giving it a try ..
Not letting that stop us and having faith ..
and also working hard for it, isn’t that what living is?
What in life is guaranteed?
If you walk, there’s a chance you might fall ..
Just because we might be unhappy, is no reason to not be happy, right? “
